You Won’t Believe Strange Thing FG Did To These Shiite School Children (See Here)
The Nigerian government have been accused of preventing some Shiite children from attending school.
According to an Islamic News agency, ABNA, the children were attacked during the Ashura procession at Anguwan Rogo, in Jos Plateau state on October 12.
It said security operatives were seen molesting and beating the students who were taken away to the police criminal investigation department and charged to court for public disturbance.
Out of 22 students who were arrested that day, 13 are minors.
The students were also said to be denied access to the basic right – education.
Below is list of the;
Names of the minors: Aliyu Musa, 9; Fatima Muhammad, 10; Muhsina Ibrahim, 10; Abida Abdussalam, 11; Mustapha Musa, 11; Maryam Ibrahim, 11; and Mabruka Mustapha, 13.
Others are: Fatima Alhassan, 13; Fatima Hassan, 13; Hafiza Bashir, 14; Khalisa M. Kabir, 14; Fatima M. Kabir, 16 and UmmulKhari Ridwan, 17.
Other Students (Not Minors) are: Nura Ibrahim, Hafsat Bashir, Aliyu Jibrin, Hajara Ahmad, Hafsat Adam, Aisha Abubakar, Aisha Usman Musa Hafsat Dahiru and Hajara Dahiru.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna state government had earlier banned the Islamic Movement in Nigeria popular know as Shiite group.
The state government declared the activities of the group illegal and directed the arrest of any individual involved with Shiites.
The arrested persons, the Kaduna state government said, will be served a two jail term if convicted.
